Format

Qualifying
The event will start with a 30 minute qualifying session to determine the starting position for the sprint race. During the qualification you are allowed to use shift-p. After the qualification there will be a 5 minute break before the Sprint Race starts.
To take part in the race, the drivers will need to set a time that is within 105% of the pole position time. Failing to do so will exclude you from partaking in the Sprint and Main Races.

Sprint Race
The Sprint Race will run for ±15 mins, the starting order of this race will be determined by the qualification period.

Main Race
Each event will feature a main race which will run for ±45mins, including a forced pit-stop. All four tires needs to be changed, failing to do this will result in a 30 seconds penalty after the race. You are required to make your pit-stop after completing one full lap and before one lap to go. Although you may pit in the first or last lap if required. The starting positions will be determined by the results of the Sprint Race, with the top 10 reversed.

1) General Rules


1.1) Chatting
Chatting during the qualifying and races is strictly forbidden. Doing so will result in a 1 second penalty in qualification (on the best time) or a DT in the race.

1.2) Disconnection
If you disconnect/timeout during the Main Race you are not allowed to rejoin the server. If you time-out during the Sprint race you are only allowed to rejoin for the Main Race, where you will start on the last position.

1.3) Reset

The server will be set with car reset disabled at all times.

1.4) Restarts

There will be no restarts unless there are big server problems.

1.5) Blue/Yellow Flags
- Respect the Yellow & Blue Flags
- Drivers must use caution and be prepared to slow down under Yellow Flag conditions.
- When you got a Blue Flag let the faster car/s pass you easily as fast as possible, but it is the responability of the passing driver to pass safely and not cause the passed driver any adverse affects.


1.6) Ingame Driver Names
All drivers must use the following format for in game driver names:

The driver number needs to be red, and the driver name white, as is showed above.

1.7) Points
The points shall be awarded as follows:

Qualification: 1 point for pole position.
Sprint Race: 15,12,10,8,6,4,2,1
Main Race: 20,15,12,10,8,6,4,2,1

1.8) Protests
Protests can be made by using the "Submit a Protest" feature on your User Control Panel. The admins will then look at these protests and make a decision. Only protests made within 24 hours of the race will be reviewed.

1.9) Skins
A skinning kit will be provided for each event and car model prior the event. Race skins must include the provided number plate with the correct number (placed on each side of the car), and the Apex Cup text. Race skins must be posted 24 hour before the start of the event. Skins should be posted on our forum at 2048*2048 resolution. Failing to do this, will result in a DT penalty in the sprint race

1.10) Confirmations
You must confirm your
attendance to the race 24 hour before the event. To do this, go to the event on our schedule and click on 'Sign up for this Race'. (note: you will have to be logged in order to do this)

1.11) Extra
You will find the results, standings and replays in the Apex Cup forum and website.

2) Championships

2.1) Drivers Championship
Drivers will be expected to complete the entire race in order to score points. The person who obtain the most points at the end of the season will be crowned champion.

2.2) Team Championship
The maximum number of drivers for any team will be 2. The points for each team will be determined by the total points each team member has scored. The team who obtain the most points at the end of the season will be crowned champions.
